With over 15 years of experience, Tammy knows her way around the courtroom.
“I don’t sit in my office. I’m in the courtroom,” said Tammy, a lifelong Louisiana Native.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Tammy received a Bachelor of Accountancy from Loyola University in 1999 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law in 2004 where she graduated Cum Laude.
After graduation, Tammy worked as an associate attorney at Middleberg, Riddle & Gianna in New Orleans, then as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Craig Hart, Inc.
After Katrina, Tammy moved from New Orleans to the Northshore, the place she now calls home. “I primarily practice law in the parishes of St. Tammany, Washington, Livingston, Jefferson, and Orleans,” said Tammy who is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts.
Although she enjoyed working in a corporate setting early in her career, Tammy knew her calling would be helping the people in her community. It wasn’t long before Tammy began working for herself, representing clients in personal and family legal dealings. “You feel like you’re making a difference, and that is a rewarding experience.”
As a divorcee herself, Tammy understands the needs of her clients going through divorces and custody disputes. “I give a lot a lot of personal attention to my clients,” Tammy said. Most of the cases Tammy takes on involve families, which demand the kind of emotional attentiveness Tammy has perfected over her years representing individuals and families.
“It is very rewarding work, although it never feels like work to me.” Tammy believes that passion and hard work are the core values of a great law practice. It is most evident Tammy holds these values near when peers, and even former opposing counsels, refer her clients.
